Our Evolution – never stand still!
1993: Quantum Design was formed initially in 1993 from CAD engineers offering design and development of control studios, namely console and visual display systems in the production and post production editing areas of the Broadcast industry during the transformation from analogue to digital technologies.
2002: whilst continuing the above expanded into the corporate space planning and workspace management world, working with the likes of RBS during their merger with Nat West Bank.
2005: Launched a broadcast product range of ancillary mechanical products, designed and manufactured in house by Quantum engineers, as turnkey products for direct sale to market as an additional service to CAD based broadcast studio desk design.
2008: By invitation expanded out into the built environment building services sector to provide 2D CAD services team to facilitate the RIBA stage 6 close out of St Pancras Station.
2015: Having worked in the world of MEP building services since 2008, the progression and evolution into 3D & BIM (building information modelling) naturally occurred with company honing skills with working practices for BIM Level 2 and later ISO19650 processes. All BIM processes & RIBA level stages executed.
2020: Continue to offer 2D & 3D CAD/BIM services with the main commercial private specialist sectors of Building Services, Eng/Manufacturing & Residential Planning. The Quantum workspace planning sector was now able to render services to the Public Sector, working closely with Hertfordshire Constabulary on their workplace expansion programme.
